Franciso Maçãs is a master’s civil engineering student,  specializing in urbanism, transports and systems.

Currently, he is working on his thesis, entitled “Using computer vision to extract pedestrian urban indicators”, in the scope of the project Streets4All. It explores the abilities and capacities of machine learning and artificial intelligence to help automatically obtain urban indicators from static videos.
